About Ventisquero Wines:

Ventisquero, meaning "glacier" in Spanish, began making wine in 2000 under the guidance of their head winemaker Felipe Tosso in Maipo Valley. They now have estate vineyards across Chile’s most prestigious winemaking regions: the valleys of Coastal Maipo, Lolol, Casablanca, Colchagua and Leyda.

The limited production Grey wines are made from single blocks by John Duval, ex-chief winemaker of Penfolds Grange, and Felipe Tosso who was awarded best Winemaker several years ago. The highly rated iconic wines, Enclave and Vertice, are also crafted by Duval and Tosso. All the grapes are harvested by hand and some of the grape clusters are foot-crushed in whole bunches, to create wines that are an expression of their extreme origin.

About Horatio Fuentes:

Winemaker, Member of Chilean Winemakers Association since 2009.

Director of Austral Wines LLC ( U.S. Ventisquero Import)

In his early career, he harvested grapes in France, California, Argentina and Chile, which helped reinforce his ideas regarding the importance of the culture of wine and its identity in expressing its denomination of origin.

During his career, he strengthened his business skills with MBA in PUC and HLP Harvard. Now he has the role in leading the subsidiary import company in the US and managing its Canadian partners from a base in Atlanta, USA.
