This Vinho Verde breaks the mold, and is the  family's answer to the question of what the traditional blend can do when someone actually farms for it. Loureiro brings the laurel and white flower lift, Trajadura the soft stone fruit middle, Arinto the citrus spine that holds the finish together. Organic farming and low yields give the fruit a concentration these varieties almost never see, so the freshness is real, grown on the vine rather than injected at the bottling line. At 10.5 percent alcohol it is a wine you drink by the bottle without thinking twice. Oysters, grilled sardines, anything that came out of cold water.
