Rina Moreno
Rina is a highly motivated and ambitious chef, focused on Turkish, Mediterranean and International cuisine. After graduating from culinary school in Istanbul, Turkey, she immersed herself in different culinary cultures. Her greatest passion is cooking, teaching, and mentoring individuals who are eager to enhance their palate and improve their culinary abilities. She believes that “food not only nourishes the body, but also feeds the soul”.

Melissa Pelkey-Hass
Melissa was born with a whisk in her hand. Over the years, her love for cooking and competition has been carefully crafted into an award-winning obsession. Melissa uses her culinary skills to compete in cooking and recipe competitions locally and nationwide. Her craft has earned over 320 State Fair Blue Ribbons, 160 Red Ribbons and titles.

David Anderson
Chef David began his career as a dishwasher at the age of 15. He cites the Japanese Iron Chef series as his inspiration for becoming a chef. A graduate of the Art institute of Atlanta, he has worked in leadership roles at the Ritz Carlton, Wahoo Grill, the Omni Hotel at the Battery, and others. After nearly 20 years, he now shares his love and passion as a culinary instructor!

Debbie Ruskin
As a former restaurateur, catering business owner, and wine wholesale rep, Debbie is firmly grounded in the culinary arts. Debbie is also a certified travel planner and leads many of Vino Venue's trips..

Ophelia Santos
Ophelia Santos, D.W.S., is a veteran of the food and beverage industry and a respected educator. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Law & Diplomacy from Tufts University and a level 4 Diploma with Merit from WSET. She is also an Accredited Instructor for both Burgundy and Bordeaux and teaches at The Art Institute of Atlanta and Kennesaw State University.

Kelly Wheeler
Kelly taught his first wine class in 1972 while pursuing dual MS and MBA degrees at Michigan State University. Areas of special interest and expertise include Italy, Germany, Greece, France, and Wine Analysis. Kelly’s passion for wine has taken him to the wine producing regions of the world including France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and California.
