Ambassador James Zellerbach founded Hanzell Vineyards in 1953 with a vision to compete on the world stage. Named after his wife Hanna, Hanzell sits at the southern toe of the Mayacamus Mountain Range overlooking Sonoma Valley and San Pablo Bay. Inspired by his experiences in Burgundy, Mr. Zellerbach planted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at a time when there were less than a few hundred acres of each planted in North America. Sebella is from their younger vines and aged in neutral oak. Dried apple, citrus, flint, lemongrass.lar
