About Greg Guy:
Greg Guy is the International Director for DGB, one of South Africa’s leading privately owned wine producers. In this role, he represents and drives the global presence of a distinguished portfolio of brands, including Boschendal, Bellingham, Fryer's Cove, Franschhoek Cellars, and Backsberg, among others.
With more than 30 years in the wine industry, Greg brings deep commercial expertise, global market insight, and a lifelong passion for fine wine to his work. He travels approximately 100 days each year, visiting close to 20 countries, where he works closely with partners, distributors, and customers to build brands and strengthen DGB’s international footprint.
Greg’s global perspective is shaped not only by decades in the trade but also by his personal experience living in the United States for several years. Over the years he has visited 40 U.S. states, gaining firsthand knowledge of one of the world’s most dynamic wine markets.
A committed wine professional, Greg holds a WSET Level 3 qualification, underscoring both his technical knowledge and his dedication to continuous learning. Above all, he is driven by a genuine passion for wine — from vineyard to glass — and by the relationships and stories that make the global wine community so unique.
