Founders Jill and Steve both worked for many years in the sustainable agriculture and local food movement. About Cappie Peete, National Sales Manager:

While majoring in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management at the University of South Carolina, Cappie happened upon a wine course and was hooked. Her education progressed as Peete enrolled in a Certified Sommelier program after graduation, and she shows no signs of slowing down. With over 15 years of experience in the wine and sales industry, Cappie is a passionate and knowledgeable beverage and sales director with an advanced sommelier certification. She has managed the sales and distribution of Kellogg Selections, a boutique wine and spirits company, for two years. She has also led and supported the beverage programs of multiple award-winning restaurants and groups, such as AC Restaurants and Neighborhood Dining Group. She has developed and maintained strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners delivering exceptional service and education to customers and staff. She has a proven track record of increasing sales, revenue, and profitability and enhancing brand awareness and reputation.
