Raj Patel was born in India and settled with his family in Northern California in 1972. An internship at Robert Mondavi inspired his wine passions. His winemaker is Julien Fayard, an alum of Lafite Rothschild, Smith Haut Lafitte and Philippe Melka. 19 months in new French oak. This 2017 is a Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot blend, but the cepage changes every year. Black currant, red currant, cedar, pencil shavings. Bordelaise in style. 150 cases produced.
