After College and MFA studies, Susanna lived in France and Morocco where she fell in love with food; returning to the US to work as a chef in the Northeast. Moving to the wine industry was a natural fit and pairing food and wine is a great joy. She has been selling Portuguese wines for over 15 years. As a Certified Specialist in Wine, she joined Premium Port in 2018. When she's not extoling her love for wine and what you should drink with your dessert, you will find her playing Hickory Golf in the beautiful Sandhills of North Carolina.
Wine Experiences Defined:
Our wine dinners include a full meal composed of multi-course culinary creations inspired by winery or family recipes, complementary wine pairings, insight into the preparation of the dish and selection of the wine, and educational commentary from the winemaker and winery representatives.
Our paired experiences include a tasting of multiple flights of wines with a common theme, paired with complementary Chef’s small plates for an introductory taste of our cuisine and insight into the winery from the perspective of the winemaker and winery representatives.
Our bar tastings feature a careful selection of wines along with complimentary house nibbles such as cheese, charcuterie or truffled popcorn.
