About Bruno Rebelo Sousa:

Bruno Rebelo Sousa is a wine industry professional based in Lisbon, passionate
about connecting people, products, and international markets through the world
of wine.

With more than 14 years of experience managing international markets worldwide, Bruno has developed extensive expertise in wine exports, business development, and strategic relationship management. Born in Lisbon and raised on Madeira Island — often referred to as the “Pearl of the Atlantic” — he holds a degree in International Relations. He also serves as Vice President of the Madeira Young Entrepreneurs Association, reflecting his ongoing commitment to entrepreneurship, leadership, and regional development.

Over the last eight years, his primary focus has been the Americas and African markets,
driving growth opportunities, strengthening distribution networks, and expanding the
presence of wine brands across diverse regions. Recognized as the most traveled
professional within his organization, Bruno spends a significant amount of time in
international markets — building relationships firsthand, identifying new opportunities,
and supporting partners across multiple continents.

Bruno combines commercial insight with a deep appreciation for wine culture, helping
build long-term partnerships and create value throughout the wine supply chain. He is
passionate about sharing Portugal’s history, traditions, and family values, believing that
authenticity, heritage, and connection sit at the heart of the wine business and the
relationships that sustain it.

Outside of work, Bruno enjoys playing chess, following Formula 1, and spending time with his family. He is married and is the proud father of two children, Maria Benedita and Manuel, who inspire his commitment to balancing professional excellence with strong family values.
