Cook, taste and celebrate! In collaboration with Chef Rina Moreno of Purpose on a Plate, Vino Venue presents its first ever plant-forward cooking experience where vegetables, grains and legumes take center stage in a creatively fresh and flavorful menu that’s as innovative as it is vegan.
In our kitchen, cooking is more than a skill — it’s an act of care. By choosing seasonal ingredients, you’ll unlock more flavor, more nutrition, and a deeper connection to the land. Take control over your ingredients to nourish your body, celebrate community, and create longevity through food. Planted Plates is about intention: putting joy, flavor, and meaning into every meal you share.
You will first be met with a reception beverage and enjoy a striking view of our impressive open demonstration kitchen. Chef will walk you through the preparations your meal while you enjoy a sip your drink. Don your apron, roll up your sleeves and get ready to work as a group to help cook each part of the meal at various stations around the kitchen by following recipes with the guidance of your Chef. Throughout the evening you'll learn about the recipes, food preparation, and the "why" behind the wines we pair with the meal.
Please note that this is a community cooking experience and each guest may not necessarily cook their own complete meal. Once the cooking is complete, you will sit down and enjoy a family style meal presentation along with complementary wine pairings.
All AWS cooking classes include an emphasis on wine, because that's who we are! If you would like to add wine to your experience, you can taste 32 different wines in our Enomatics (wine dispensing system) or you can order wine by the glass or bottle.

About Chef Rina:
Rina is a highly motivated and ambitious chef, focused on Turkish, Mediterranean and International cuisine. After graduating from culinary school in Istanbul, Turkey, she developed a deep appreciation for the art of cooking. Driven by her adventurous spirit she immersed herself in different culinary cultures. Her greatest passion is cooking, teaching, and mentoring individuals who are eager to enhance their palate and improve their culinary abilities. She believes that “food is not only nourishes the body, but also feeds the soul”. Through cooking classes, workshops and personalized instruction, Chef Rina empowers her students to explore their culinary activity and cultivate their own unique style. Her skills and reputation have been earned through working as a caterer and personal chef. With her roots in Istanbul, Chef Rina continues to draw inspiration from the vibrant food scene and rich community, traditions of Turkey.
