About Horatio Fuentes, Farmer, Former Winemaker and Export Director:
2024 Executive of the Year nominee by Wine Enthusiast.
Horatio's career began working harvests across Chile, Argentina, California, and Spain, gaining firsthand experience in diverse winemaking cultures. These early opportunities shaped his deep appreciation for the cultural identity of wine and connection to its place of origin.
Throughout his career, Fuentes has continued to study terroir-driven philosophies, with multiple visits to prestigious regions in Burgundy and the Rhône Valley.
His time in Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Côte-Rôtie, and Hermitage has further enriched his understanding of the nuances that define world-class wines.
