4MAY02 The Four Graces PINOT GRIS, Willamette Valley, Oregon 2022 (F, O)
4 4 and 6 bottle levels $22 (member price $19)
98% Pinot Gris, 2% Chardonnay 13.0% ABV
The Four Graces was founded in 2003, named after the founder’s four daughters, before being purchased by Foley Family in 2014. Pinot Noir is their flagship grape, with Pinot Gris and Chardonnay also grown. Most of the fruit for this Pinot Gris is from their estate vineyards (Weathergage Vineyard - Van Duzer Corridor, Foley Family Vineyard - Dundee Hills and Black Walnut Vineyard - Dundee Hills). The attack is ripe and juicy yellow peach, bosc pear and whiff of grapefruit. The fruit continues on the finish with traces of chalk and minerality. Aged in stainless steel.
