San Lorenzo is a 5th generation family owned winery, founded in 1890, and located in Castilenti in the foothills between the Gran Sasso Mountains and the Adriatic. It’s the largest family owned winery in the Teramo provence. A number of San Lorenzo’s wines are named after constellations. Since their location has no light pollution, the the stars are easily visible. Gru takes its name from the constellation of the Crane.
