Patient Cottat was a famous Master Goldsmith from Paris and he loved the scenery, food and wine of the Sancerre region. This is a brand of the Fournier Family. The label reads Vin de France, but it’s all estate fruit. The estate has grown from 13 acres in 1950 to almost 75 acres today, divided over the appellations of Menetou-Salon, Pouilly-Fumé, and Sancerre. Aged in stainless steel. Lime, grapefruit, gooseberry on the attack, finishing with a whiff of bell pepper.
