6 bottle level $50 (member price $33)

David Sinegal acquired the historic Inglewood Estate, in Saint Helena in 2013. He renamed the winery Sinegal Estate Winery. His father James was co-founder and CEO of Costco. The estate is west of Hwy 29, on the benchland nestled against the Mayacamas Mountains. This is hallowed ground, and the triple digit prices for his wines reflects it. To broaden his reach, Mr Sinegal established his Details label, sourcing fruit from elsewhere in North Coast so as to hit lower price points. Most of the fruit for this Details Cab is from Knights Valley (northeast Sonoma, very close to Calistoga). Aged 15 months in French oak barrels (55% new). Ripe and rich blackberry, boysenberry, dark chocolate, espresso
