Founded in 1860, Cleto Chiarli was the first Lambrusco winery to use in-bottle production of methode ancestrale production sparkling wine. It’s a 5th generation family owned business run by five cousins (Carol, Giorgio, Stephano, Giovanni and Tommaso). The fruit for this Organic Lambrusco is from Castelvetro di Modena, from local members of Cantina Sociale di Settecani. Lambrusco is frizzante (lightly sparkling), and this Organic Lambrusco is the classic ying-yang of contrasts. With 15 grams/liter rs, it’s off-dry, but the screaming acidity balances the flavors of tart cherry, black raspberry and earth.
