This is a Hands-on Cooking & Wine Experience
Cuban cuisine is a fusion of Spanish, African, and Caribbean cuisines, drawing spices, techniques and flavors from each culture. Travel with us to Havana for an unforgettable evening and as we turn up the heat in the kitchen, our skilled chef will teach you a few tricks so you can take home a taste of the Caribbean!
You will greeted with a glass of wine and a reception with light appetizers. You'll have a striking view of our impressive open demonstration kitchen. You'll don your apron and roll up your sleeves as your experienced Chef walks you through the process of preparing your meal. Together, we'll prepare a delicious meal and enjoy the fruits of our labor with wines expertly paired to match by your own personal sommelier.
Through the evening you'll learn about the recipes, food preparation, and the "why" behind the wines we pair with the meal.
All AWS cooking classes include an emphasis on wine, because that's who we are! You can expect 2 different wines to sample during reception/cooking and two wines paired with your meal for a total of approximately 3+ glasses. If you would like to add more wine to your experience, you can taste 32 different wines in our Enomatics (wine dispensing system) or you can order wine by the glass or bottle.
