Summary:
This globally-recognized qualification provides a beginner level introduction to sake for people working in a career in the beverage industry or anyone who has an interest to learn about sake. This qualification offers an exploration around the main styles and types of sake through sight, smell and taste to understand the key factors affecting flavors and aromas. Upon successful completion of a short exam you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
This is a one-day course culminating in a multiple choice examination consisting of 30 questions.

Earn A Credential In Sake:
Candidates who successfully complete the certification course and pass the examination will have gained:
- WSET Level 1 Award in Sake certificate

- Knowledge on wine basics and wine styles
- Tutored blind tasting experience using the WSET methodology
- Ability to move onto the Level II: Wines & Spirits Qualification
